About Us

Quemado Lake Water Association (QLWA) is a Mutual Domestic Small Water System. In 1998 the water system was formed and known as Quemado Lake Estates Rural Water Users Cooperative Association (QLERWUCA). In 2004, the water system was renamed Quemado Lake Water Association (QLWA). We have 157 metered memberships out of 171 total memberships. 

QLWA has two wells located on Hwy 103, just before Quemado Lake. We have over 16 miles of pipe, two water tanks with a total storage capacity of 80,000 gallons and a booster pump station, located at 14 Escondido Road.
